Loved this show as a kid. But it seemed whenever I found a creative show to watch they pulled it in favor of boring drama series.

For anyone who is interested in more and most importantly brand new Misfits of Science action, science UA-camr Joe Scott (Answers with Joe) did a full cast script reading of a Misfits of Science reboot he wrote a script for. It’s actually really good and truly captures the spirit of the original show. I highly suggest you give it a watch you won’t be disappointed.

I really think now would be a good time to re boot this, they managed to do it with other shows

Great movie. Not an action sci fi thriller, but a thoughtful, smart sci fi drama. Didn't like it before, but over the years it has become one of my favorites.

The lady at the beginning has a princess Leia double hair bun 0:09. This is the second time I have seen this predating Star Wars. The other was, I think a 40s movie. The hair dresser should have been compensated by Star Wars.

Your description of Billy's character seems very reminiscent of many of the actor's dad:s roles.

They did this show dirty. It deserved a proper ending.

I saw this film in the 80s when I was 10, I had nightmares for a week.

Its good that you mentioned the changes and tinkering adams did with the story, its part of the reason why it got drawn out to five parts, he didnt know when to give up.

This was such a great show, especially for the time. It's no wonder NBC killed it (because 1980s NBC was pretty antithetical to good television). I remember that it was hard to watch because they kept on moving it around the schedule. Thanks for the memories!

It wasn't perfect. The two Asian characters were not needed and in many ways, I found them annoying but over all, this was what I was hoping it was going to be under Disney...and MAAAAN was I wrong to hope for that.

I enjoyed the show and was very disappointed when it disappeared from the airwaves... I liked Automan and Street Hawk too...

I find Quantum of Solace far more watchable than Spectre of the Craig series.

IMO Airport and The Poseidon Adventure are good movies. I just can't get past the soap opera lighting in Towering Inferno.

This show was cursed. Both Kevin Peter Hall and Dean Paul Martin died at age 35. Hall from AIDS related pneumonia and Martin when the F-4 Phantom he was piloting crashed in poor weather during a training flight for the California Air National Guard.

It was an interesting take on the character, kind of an amalgamation of the classic superhero and the de-powered spy Wonder Woman of the early 70s. It just wasn’t what the fans wanted though. The Lynda Carter series gave us one season of the classic 1940s WW, the next 2 seasons were set in contemporary times with a anti-espionage spin that pretty matched up with the comics of the time.

I would watch "Aliens vs Webster". Also this lovely show featured Major Burns & Col. Flagg from M.A.S.H.-fame. Definitely belongs in the Stam Fine Vault of Almost

I definitely think it would have worked had it not been set in the 60s. Obviously that had already been done and it worked then because that was when it was made. But to make a 1998 movie into a 1960s movie was never gonna work. If they had made it in present year, it probably would’ve worked I think. And the posh accents of Steed and Peel in this movie. What the hell! They never spoke like that in the series.

The Nationals mentioned in the film are probably the National Air Races. According to Wikipedia, the National Air Races are a series of pylon and cross country aircraft races that were held in places like Cleveland Ohio since 1920. Secord and Peevy were probably preparing for this event. However, the Nationals usually took place in September, so Secord would have an entire year to prepare.

How have I not seen this? For whatever reason, this, UFO, and Jason of Star Command flew under my radar... and I love space opera! It's probably my favorite genre.

It was original...robots finding a soul in 2000s..not so interesting.
